In the Lana Lore Chapter 3 quest added in the Dress to Impress Halloween Update, you're thrown into a dangerous maze filled with traps. If you can find your way out, a boss fight with the formidable Lina awaits you.

This page explains how to start and complete the Lana Chapter 3 quest in DTI, including how to get out of the maze and how to defeat Lina, and lists the rewards you get for doing so.

How to Start Chapter 3 Quest in DTI Halloween Update

When you complete the Chapter 2 quest in Dress to Impress, you'll automatically start the Lana Lore Chapter 3 quest. If you quit after finishing Chapter 2, you'll need to either click the Halloween Server in the Servers list in the top left of your screen, or enter the green portal in the lobby during the Intermission between rounds.

Once inside the Halloween Server, enter the Chapter 3 portal and wait for the quest to begin. Like the previous two, up to eight players can work together to complete the quest.

How to Complete Chapter 3 Quest in DTI Halloween Update

In the Chapter 3 Lana Lore quest in the Dress to Impress Halloween update, you must first escape the maze by avoiding traps. Then, once you're out, you'll face Lina in a boss battle.

After speaking to Serena, enter the maze through the hole in the wall. There are a handful of trap types in here: rolling spikes, floor spikes, boxes that fall on you, and scythe traps. All are easy to avoid by jumping over them, but if you are hit, you'll take a half-heart of damage. If your health bar depletes entirely, you'll fail the quest and have to start over.

How to Escape the Maze - Quest Walkthrough

From the starting position, turn left and jump over a floor spike trap.

Follow the path, then turn right just before the hole in the wall.

You'll reach two right paths. Take the second one further away.

Continue forward, ignoring the path on the left, and go through the hole in the wall.

Keep going until you reach a scythe trap and a rolling spike trap on your left. Jump over them and continue on past a floor trap and another rolling spike trap.

Jump over them, and turn left past another rolling spike trap.

Ignore the right path, and turn the corner to the left.

Take the left path over a spike trap.

You'll reach another rolling spike trap. Jump over it and turn left.

Continue and you'll see a floor spike trap on your right. Jump over it.

Jump over a second floor spike trap, and turn left.

You'll reach two scythe traps and a floor spike trap. Jump over them, and keep going through the hole in the wall.

Next, take the right path, and keep going, jumping over several traps.

Take the right path after the rolling spike trap, and keep going past another hole in the wall and several more traps.

You'll eventually reach a hole in the wall and one more rolling spike trap. Jump over it and turn the corner to finish the maze portion of the quest. Now comes the Lina boss fight!

How to Beat Lina - Boss Fight Strategy

There are seven phases to the Lina boss fight in the Dress to Impress Halloween update. Once you pick up the scythe, the battle begins.

Phase 1:

In the first phase, Lina will spawn red portals and fake Lana enemies will come out of them. Use the scythe to defeat the Lanas.

Phase 2:

In phase two, rocks will appear from the ground. Stand on one as quickly as possible, as the arena fills up with black sludge that will damage you if you're in it.

Phase 3:

Next, red lines will appear on the ground. Avoid them, as spikes will shoot out where the red lines appear. This will happen 10 times.

Phase 4:

Once you've cleared the red lines and spikes, red circles will appear on the ground. Avoid them, as Lina will raise spikes out of the ground that damage you if you stand on one. There are five sets of spikes, and then phase five will start.

Phase 5:

In phase five, Lina will jump off the platform into the arena. Start moving constantly as she will chase you and damage you if she catches you.

Phase 6:

In the sixth phase, Lina will stop in the middle of the arena, then jump up and smash onto the ground, sending black rings out. You'll need to jump over the rings.

Phase 7:

In the final phase, Lina will glow red and "ATTACK NOW!" text will appear on screen. This is your cue to rush in and attack her with the scythe. The more players in your group, the quicker she will take damage. We did the fight solo and it took 25 hits to defeat her.

Once Lina is defeated, the Chapter 3 Lana Lore quest will end, and you'll get the Part 3: Själens frihet.... badge, and the following cosmetic rewards:
